Unlike the other samples, the isolation is installed as a cover after producing and installing duct, (Usually made of glass wool, in addition high-volume and short life, it has side effects on human health) Product of (PSB) are made of three layers that are connected together simultaneously during producing, respectively, placed on a coiled spring wires are woven together.

The flexible air duct with glass wool insulation has an inner aluminum duct, glass wool insulation and outer aluminum jacket which reinforced by steel wire.
Flexible air duct with glass wool insulation, are insulated after producing, so this process is too time consuming. Due to some limitations, glass wool thicknesses couldnt be produce less than 25mm
But in pre-insulated flexible air duct, we can use other insulation, so they can be produce in 6-20 mm thicknesses.
This amount of insulation thickness, especially for heat loss and condensation is an optimal solution.
In flexible air duct with glass wool insulation,first, inner duct is connected to the main air duct by clamps and tapes, thenthe jacket and insulation which had been folded back, are pulled over the innerduct.
Assembly ends by reusing clamp and tapes.

The air flow decreases the glass wool quality overtime
It also has negative impact on insulation and increases heat loss

Because the PSBBlack is fully laminated, there is no air flow among the inner duct, insulation and outer jacket
This will reduce heat loss
In probable cases, during installation and assembly, when the jacket of flexible air duct with elastomeric insulation is torn, air flow is created between the jacket and insulation material
This air flow cause to make dust and moisture ininsulation overtime and damage it.
Glass wool dust also cause allergic
But in PSBBlack, because of its fully lamination,holes and tears are limited to an area, so there is no airflow
